Eh...the Factions' Shing Jea Island isn't as noobish as pre-searing. When you get out of pre-searing, the highest level monsters are about lvl 7. When you get off Shing Jea Island, everything is lvl 20+.

While I dont see it hurting things if storage was bought into pre-searing, I dont see it helping things eaither.
Dye traders however would stop people being able to scam new players out of a black dye for 500 gold, usually less.

Adding Dye Traders is a good idea, though.

pre-searing needs a make over IMO - the new one is soo much better for teaching you how to play the game. doesnt have to be the uber-speed build like it is in factions though.

Why in gods name would you need a storage in pre-searing? You don't need money in pre-searing for anything, the way I look at it, level to about level 8 or so, then get the hell out of pre. :P

Not necessary for any good reason that I can see. I spent alot of time in pre with my first character. With my other characters I got out pretty quick because i'd already seen it done it and building up my is alot faster in post.

I can think of 1 really good arguement for putting access to storage back in pre, anyone who hangs out there for even a few days will see that it's a forgotten corner of the game that seems to be full of deviant activity. I like pre, but find ppl wispering me to see if I want to cyber all the time disturbing. If a-net would just put back the guild hall link more ppl would play that part of the game, making it a cleaner enviroment like the other more populated parts of the game. And honestly who cares if someone can take a green weapon to pre? It doesn't mean they will have any extra advantage, only that killing char will get boring that much faster lol.

/Not Signed. Every time I go in Pre Sear, there are always more people there then in the Wilds / Druids overlook.
Just to Clarify, Factions Does not have a Pre or Post Searing, "The Searing" is only something that happens in Prophecies.
Factions and Nightfalls have noob islands.

That example isn't really fair, druids overlook and the wilds are places that take an effort to reach in the game, more over you can actually skip them entirely and still play the game. You can't skip pre and still play prophecies and you shouldn't have to rush through the experiance because other ppl think staying in pre is stupid. The plane truth is that putting access to storage back in pre would solve way more problems than it caused.

Well I guess only people having a perma pre char (which is my case) would find it really useful. Yes I would enjoy a green on my pre char, or a skill trainer, or...
But heck, on the otherhand I also like to hunt for a purple 10-16 +20hp 13^50 bow, or to manage to solo the whole Northlands with the 8 rangers skills I have.
And Ascalon is so quiet when you don't have the W.TSpammers. No doubt it would change if there was a storage: just look at Shin Jea Island.
So it's definitely /notsigned. I'd say if ANET should change something to pre that would be to let us go alone to the Northlands after we have completed the quest there.

For some reason i think not being able to go there after you went tru the searing is also a reason. As soon as you go thru the searing you cant go back to nice looking ascalon.
You can always go back to Canthas beginner island.

No this would bring level 2 bragging snobs starting to give a bad influence to new players who just started playing.
And ... about pre searing dye farm... >< I make more in a 20 minuts smite run then 1 day of pre searing dye farm.

Pre searing is one of the only places where trade spam doesn't occur. In pre, people actually have conversations in district 1 ascalon. In pre, a non max purple actually means something. Bringing high end items into pre would ruin it. /notsigned
